Outlines/No class today: 3/29--I am sick!
Hi Gang--Class won't meet today, I am very sick, but with meds, will be back TH to review persuasive speeches/give persuasive quiz. For this blog, let's talk about your outlines: Persuasion requires heavy support of your main points (3-5 for this speech)--Support points with a good analogy (comparision) or a great bit of evidence or even a clever or heartfelt example. Since you have chosen your topics, here is a good chance to get feedback: State one of your main points and support it with strong, relevent evidence. Ask your readers for some input if you like. - Anime have the best graphic up to date to show people that the style that these anime makers make their anime shows to which they put their heart and soul to makes these graphic better to let people know that they share same point about how society and life is like.
I research my main point with one my source which is up to date with the anime making show. It is www.ehow.com/about_5412447_anime.html. This source gives a lot about other topics to help along the main points and get a lot of supporting details to connect it with the main point.
One of my main points is how Justin Bieber is a natural talent and was found through YouTube. He wasn't like other artists who had their parents put them into programs like the Mickey Mouse Club or vocal classes. He was born talented!

One of my main point of having an addiction to gambling is that it can ruin someone life such as losing their job. When people are addicted to gambleing, they tend to stay at the casino and call in their work place many time. It tends for gambleholic to lose their jobs because of useless and many call in.

ReplyDeleteOne of my main points for my persuasive speech is that diet fads are not designed for long-term results and should be avoided when trying to successfully lose weight.

For my speech I'll be talking about adoption and how people should consider it. One of my main points will be that children who get adopted become part of the family, they are not just the adopted child but they are a child.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive speech I will be discussing how Bollywood dancing is a great workout. It works out your abs, butt, and all the muscles in your body because of the fast music.
My support will be showing the class a move or two with a couple volunteers so they can talk about their experience maybe. I’m still debating with having people come or just showing a video of some Bollywood dancing. My second support is how many fitness centers across the nation are offering Bollywood classes, so they burn calories in just an hour while having a lot of fun.

ReplyDeleteone of my main points is bow sky diving inspires and encourages others to skydive or to do something they never thought they ever could because they always thought it was either to far fetch or they could never mustard up the courage to do so.
support is that since ive gone skydiving numerous amount of friends i have now want to sky dive since they know someone close to them that has done it. i also have inspired my friend to go sky diving with me because she told me she has always wanted to go but has never had no one to give her that push, which i did.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive speech I will convince the audience on how tennis is the sport to play. One of the main points of tennis is exercise. Tennis is fun and is a great exercise at the same time. Playing tennis will all a less chance for any health problems in half. It is a sport that requires cardio workout, which is good for heart.

For my persuasive speech, I am going to talk about why moving around a lot is bad. I have moved around quite a bit when I was little, so I know a thing or two about moving.

ReplyDeleteRecycling is a major part of trying to save and help our planet. Everyone should make sure to be educated on what is recyclable because you may be throwing away something that can be recycled. Like vhs tapes, in case you didn't know that. Also, if your no longer using something like tools or clothing then you can recycle those items by giving them away. Making sure to recycle things you used is a great way for you to help out saving the planet so that we and our future generations can keep living on Earth. Be proactive!
One of my main points for my persuasive speech about Cystic Fibrosis is charities, events, and fundraisers. I am going to use the Great Strides website (the biggest money raiser)and my own experience participating in the 5K walk including some pictures.

Well since I'm persuading people why California is such an amazing place to visit and live one of my main points is going to be the beautiful coastal location. I feel like when people think about California and what it might be like, beaches and the ocean often come to mind. I will talk about how you can go experience a unique fisherman experience in San Francisco with the amazing sea food and charming shops, or the ultimate "California" beach experience in the sunny Los Angeles beaches where you can rollerblade, ride bikes, and even play volleyball along the beach.
